Includes a brief description & location of the property, mortgaged to Jonathan Britain. Sheet watermarked paper written 2 sides, ink & embossed duty stamps. 225/11 St Ives - 1842 - Bond to indemnify against the payment of Annuities given by George Game Day to Martin Rawling Osborne (both St Ives). Refers to 1838 agreement by which various properties & lands sold by James Osborne to William Coote (St Ives), part of the consideration consisting of an annual annuity payable to James Osborne & his daughter Anna for life. Includes location, tenants / occupiers of the properties, reference to subsequent indentures & Auction at which George Game Day purchased the Crown Inn (St Ives) & Martin Rawling Osborne The George (Houghton). The bond relates to Day's agreement that he will be responsible for payment of future annuity payments to the Osbornes.
