104/15 Alborough - 1833 - Bond of Indemnity given by Edward Lord Suffield, Baron Suffield of Suffield to James Gay (Aylsham). Refers to agreement of same day by which Suffield sold to Gay Land in Alborough. The Bond relates to an Indemnity in respect of an Annuity previously charged against the Lands under the Will of Dorothy Harwood (Formerly Lubbock) dated 1727). Sheet paper watermarked 1832 - folded in 2 - written on 1+ sides. Ink & embossed duty stamps. Signed Suffield with wax seal containing (possibly family) coat of arms - witness signature Edward White, (Marlborough St). £45

68/28 Bristow - 1791 - Confirmation of terms of Lease of 1789 of Water Mill in Stuttton, Suffolk by William Davy ( Danbury, Essex) to William Tills and permission for Tills to erect various buildings. William Groom (Bristow, Norfolk) also party to the agreement - as mortgagee of premises. Paper Indenture signed and sealed by William Davy and William Tills and witnessed by Henry Rawlings and W Sparling. Several small splits in folds. £51
105/32 Cromer Hall - 1896 - Lease of shooting & sporting rights on the Estate by Margaret Bond Cabbell, widow (Cadogan Sq, London), Edward Eyre Greenwell (Lime St, London) & Evelyn Bond Cabbell (Cromer Hall) to John Henry Buxton (Hunsdon Bury, Ware, Herts). Conditions to be met by Buxton with the rights which cover 1400 acres in several parishes. The 4th side has a supplementary agreement (1897) allowing Miss Lanchester to have minor alterations made. Signed by Salter, witnessed by Arthur C Elliott (solr clerk). 131/9 Dickleburgh - 1855 - Sale of land by Inclosure Commissioners to William Day (Trowse). Location of land by reference to adjoining owners & roads. Parchment - signed by Commissioners Henry Charles Mules & William Blamire, with large indistinct wax seal (one edge lost) for Inclosure Commissioners of England & Wales, witness John W Tottie - some slight damp staining. £42
84/184 Diss (Heywood Hall) - 1752 - Copy of Surrender of Copyhold Messuages & Land to Manor by Peter Buckenham to the use of Philip Meadows, the younger as security for money borrowed. 1 side of a sheet of watermarked paper - endorsed on reverse with Buckingham's 'mark' that it's a true copy & that he's received the monies. Witnesses - Abigail Keer / Kear & Thos Gostling. Small holes in folds not affecting text. [see also 84/185 - Wills, below] £40
84/186 Diss - 1798 - Obligation Bond given by Ralph Freeman re monies owed to John Sharman. Refers to surrender of Lands held of the Manor, as security. Pre-printed paper with manuscript details. The signature / mark of Ralph Freeman & most of the seal have been torn out (possibly when the loan was repaid in 1807) leaving a hole approx 2"x 1:5" affecting a little of the text. The reverse is noted with details of 6 interest payments with 3 x signature of J Sharman, and 1 of (possibly) M Sharman. £30
84/188 Diss - 1785 - 1865 - Abstract of Title of Executors of Samuel Drake to Lands held of Manor of Heywood Hall. Details of Lands acquired in 1807 - previously held by Susanna Freeman (Scole / Osmondeston) who acquired them from exors of Philip Meadows in 1785 - extracts from Samuel Drake's Will - brother in law James Jarrett (Diss), nephew James T D Jarrett (Worlingworth, Suffolk). 3 sheets watermarked paper. £14

date. Balance of document mostly relates to Enfranchisement of the lands from
various Manors, & settlement in Trust on the Marriage of Charles Chase to
Louisa Hicks (Highbury Cresc. Middx - Frederick Hicks of same place -
Trustee). Also refers to sale of land to Solomon Saunders (small
location plan - & subsequent sales to George Molton & Frederick Lusher.
