67/82 ?Sudbury? - 1825 - Letter noted 'Late W Rawles affairs'
from Benj. H Lynes (Liskeard). The address panel has been cut out, so the
addressee is not known. The letter refers to land sold to Mr Couche, a
visit by Lynes to Mr Rawle & his family at Plymouth, to Mrs Rawle & her family
here (Liskeard), and to 3 children Francis, Anne & Harriett, and sends
compliments to Mr & Mrs Wm Ward.

10/4 Barnardiston Hall, Haverhill - 1920 - Auction particulars of the
Hall and 205 acres to be sold by direction of the Rt Hon Lady Malcolm of
Poltalloch, consisting of :-
1) A printed booklet (card covers) plus 10 pages and 2 pages of
photographs (total of 4 photos) including a few manuscript notes and
under-linings. Both pages of photos have some damage (holes) to the top edge of
the page, where previously folded, and this very slightly affects the top edge
of one of the photos. The booklet contains general information concerning the
property, the conditions of sale and a detailed description of the accommodation
at Barnardiston Hall including room measurements and details of some fittings;
also of outbuildings and cottages, a schedule of the lands in the parishes of
Barnardiston and Monks Risbridge (cross referenced to the numbers on the plan
[see below]), state of cultivation and acreage. 2) A coloured plan,
approx. 18”x 24¾ ” overall, identifying the fields in the auction particulars.
